The Banjo Four
Helen Knighton
performed in the early 1930s in a quartet known variously as The Banjo Four and
The Banjo Melody Four. The group is pictured above at the microphone of
radio station WCOD in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The members of The Banjo
Four also played in Dean's Banjo, Mandolin and
Guitar Orchestra led by Warren Dean, seen here with the quartet.
